Monday’s action comes from France, Italy and Spain in Paul Robinson’s Daily Acca, and it has been boosted to 13/2. Here are his selections:
Toulouse to return to the top
Bet 1: Back Toulouse @ 13/20 – KO 19:45 GMT
Toulouse were beaten at Niort last week, but if they win their game in hand here, they will return to the top of Ligue Two.
They are at home to Rodez, and while the visitors are in good form, they have been beaten in three of their last five on the road.
The hosts have won five of their last seven on this ground, and that includes recent 4-1 and 6-0 successes.
Respite for Roma
Bet 2: Back Roma @ 4/11 – KO 19:45 GMT
Jose Mourinho’s tenure at Roma has been disappointing to date, but they will surely beat Spezia at Stadio Olimpico this evening.
Roma put back to back Serie A defeats behind them by winning 3-2 at CSKA Sofia in the Europa Conference League, and while that isn’t strong form, it will at least boost their confidence.
Spezia are 17th in the table, without a win in four, and have been beaten in all of their last five away from home – conceding a total of 16 goals.
Spanish fixture to end all square
Bet 3: Back The Draw in Cadiz v Granada @ 21/10 – KO 20:00 GMT
These two teams are in the wrong half of the La Liga table, and neither of them score enough goals.
Granada have netted 16 times in 15 outings, while Cadiz have 14 from 16.
I see this match being a low-scoring affair, which usually favours a draw, and with the pair of them having already shared the spoils on six occasions each this term, it has to be the bet for me.
