Red Bull Salzburg are top of their Champions League group, but outsiders against Wolfsburg. Dan Fitch thinks the value is with the visitors.

Bottom club host top team in Group G
Wolfsburg and Red Bull Salzburg both need a victory in Group G, but for very different reasons.
The German hosts are bottom of the group and yet to win a game (P3 W0 D2 L1). They lost the reverse fixture 3-1 and were then defeated in in the Bundesliga days later, at home to Freiburg. At the weekend, Wolfsburg returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory at Bayer Leverkusen, which leaves them seventh in the league.
After a 1-1 away draw at Sevilla in their opening match, Red Bull Salzburg have won their two home games against Lille and Wolfsburg. Now they’re back on the road again and looking to protect their unbeaten start to this season across all competitions.
At the weekend they were denied another victory when opponents Ried grabbed a last-gasp equaliser to make it 2-2. It was only the second time that Red Bull have dropped points this season in 13 games in the Austrian Bundesliga (W11 D2).
Red Bull price is far too big
Wolfsburg are the favourites at 2.56/4, with Red Bull Salzburg at 2.962/1 and the draw at 3.711/4.
With Salzburg the runaway leaders of the group, already four points clear of second placed Sevilla, there is surely value with the visitors to remain unbeaten. Their odds for victory are big enough to consider backing them at that price, but also provide opportunities for caution.
Back Red Bull to simply avoid defeat and you can get odds of 1.664/6. Go for Salzburg in the Draw No Bet market and the price rises to 2.186/5, which looks like excellent value.
