It’s all about the Europa League for Paul Robinson tonight, and his Daily Acca has been boosted from 10/1 to 12/1. Here are his selections:
Foxes to complete their Italian job
Bet 1: Back Leicester @ 29/20 – KO 20:00 BST
Napoli have made a 100% start to their Serie A campaign, but they haven’t achieved much in Europe in recent years, and they don’t always take this competition too seriously – especially in the group stage.
The Foxes have had a mixed start to the season, winning two and losing two in the league. They did beat Man City in the Community Shield though, and they won their group in this competition last year.
The atmosphere is sure to be electric inside the King Power tonight, and with Brendan Rodgers almost certain to play his best XI, I believe that the hosts are a value bet.
Ibrox to be rocking
Bet 2: Back Rangers @ 21/10 – KO 20:00 BST
Rangers are top of the SPL again and I feel that they have been undervalued by the market for their home game against Lyon this evening.
The French side have won their last two Ligue One fixtures, but prior to that, they had started the season with two draws and a defeat.
Conceding goals has been a real issue for Lyon this term. They have kept just the one clean sheet and conceded eight times in total.
Steve Gerrard’s men were unsuccessful in their bid to qualify for the Champions League, but they made it through to the last 16 of the Europa last year, and with that experience under their belt, another good run could be on the cards.
Germans to break their duck
Bet 3: Back Eintracht Frankfurt @ 13/20 – KO 20:00 BST
The Germans are a short price to win tonight, and while they are yet to record a victory in the Bundesliga this season, I still fancy them to beat Fenerbahce.
The Turkish team saw off HJK to qualify for the group stage, and they currently sit fourth in their domestic division, having taken 10 points from their opening four fixtures.
Eintracht Frankfurt are a much tougher opponent than what they have faced to date, and while they are yet to win, as mentioned, they are at least unbeaten in three.
