Football Tips: Best Bundesliga, La Liga and Premier League bets from the Football…Only Bettor team

Caroline Barker, Kevin Hatchard, Mark O’Haire and Jake Osgathorpe previewed the Bundesliga, La Liga and the Premier League in this week’s Football…Only Bettor podcast. Listen here and read on for their best bets…

Jake: “Aston Villa have been poor defensively all season. I’d be looking at taking Sheffield United to win at [2.34].”

Bundesliga

Saturday’s matches.

Mark O’Haire: “Frankfurt will be tired from their cup game on Wednesday night. They struggle on the road. The bet is Hertha double chance and to score over 1.5 goals at even money.”

Kevin: “Hertha to win is the bet for me.”

Kevin: “Bayern are missing Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller. But they still have enough quality in attack. There are gaps to exploit in the Gladbach defence. I’ll back Bayern -1.5 Asian Handicap at [2.03].”

Jake: I’m hugely surprised to see under 2.5 at odds against. I think [2.28] is a huge price and will take it.

La Liga

Matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Mark: “If you go to Sportsbook you can get [2.6] on both teams to receive a card in each half. That’s caught my attention and the price is very nice for what will be a competitive game.”

“The [1.78] on Valencia might look skinny but they’re a much better team and I think they will win. It’s worth pursuing.”

Jake: “Based on expected goals Leganes should be a lot shorter than [2.42]. They will have too much for Vallodolid.”

Kevin: “Barcelona should win but they’ve looked a bit fragile defensively away from home. I like both teams to score at [1.89].”

Jake: “This should be really entertaining with plenty of goals. The reverse game was a 4-3 win for Sociedad. I expect similar in this game and am surprised that over 2.5 is [1.84]

Kevin: “Eibar tend to lose heavily against the big teams in La Liga. Real to win and Karim Benzema to score on the same game multi is [1.82].”

Premier League

Wednesday’s matches.

Mark: “Sheffield United double chance and under 3.5 goals on the Sportsbook is the bet for me.”

Kevin: “I think this will be a low-scoring match and would be looking at [1.79].”

Jake: “Aston Villa have been poor defensively all season. I’d be looking at taking Sheffield United to win at [2.34].

Kevin: “City have had a difficult time against the better teams. They may well win this but I like Arsenal +1.5 on the Asian Handicap.”

Jake: “Arsenal will be found out against a much better team. There’s a decent bit of value in backing City to win to nil at 17/10 on the Sportsbook.”
