After a winner in France, Kev’s whisking us away to Colombia, and he’s taking on the hosts.
Visitors have proved hard to beat
Atletico Bucaramanga v Union Magdalena
Thursday 02 May, 22:15
Rennes gave us a bit of a scare last night, because despite taking an early 2-0 lead against Monaco, they nearly blew it. As it was, a 2-2 draw landed our first winner of the week.
A long flight awaits, because we’re heading all the way to the Colombian city of Bucaramanga. It has 160 parks, and is known as “Colombia’s Beautiful City.” After we’ve checked out the flora and fauna, we have a ticket for Atletico Bucaramanga against Union Magdalena in the top flight, and I reckon the hosts are too short for the victory.
Both teams are in mid-table, but the visitors Union are two places and three points better off than tonight’s opponents. They have only lost one of their last ten matches in league and cup. On the road, they have put together a five-match unbeaten streak.
Atletico haven’t won any of their last six matches, and at home they have won just one of their last five. They are leaking plenty of goals recently, with 12 conceded in their last five outings. At the other end they are averaging fewer than a goal per game.
Atletico seem underpriced at [1.65], so let’s lay them.
