Football Bet of the Day: Rangers to boss Ross

Tobias Gourlay’s spending Sunday in Scotland, where he fancies Rangers to extend their strong start to the Premiership season

Rangers v Ross County
Sunday 15:00

In Portugal yesterday, there were no goals for Gli Vicente. Or for Santa Clara. A 0-0 draw comprehensively took down our BTTS bet, but we’re in profit for the week and looking to finish it with a winner from north of the border.

At Ibrox, Rangers have won their first four league games of the new season by an aggregate 12-0. This afternoon, Steven Gerrard’s men face Ross County, who they played three times in the Premiership last season and beat three times – by a combined 7-0. Home and away, across all competitions (league and Europa League) the Gers have scored twice or more in eight straight games and we fancy them to knock in a few more today.

Stuart Kettlewell’s Ross County have lost 10/20 away games since the start of last season. They conceded at least three times in 7/10 of those defeats and the margin of defeat was at least three goals in 6/10. We’re backing rampant Rangers to put them to the sword today.
