Helsingor can go joint top of the Danish 1st Division with a win tonight and Tobias Gourlay fancies them to get the result they want
HB Koge v FC Helsingor
Wednesday 18:00
In the Netherlands last night, the Lightbulbs flickered and then they went out. Ten-man Benfica held PSV to a goalless draw that sends the Eagles up and away into the Champions League, and leaves us with nothing.
We’re in Denmark today for the 1st Division match between HB Koge and FC Helsingor. Only top-of-the-table Lyngby have stopped Helsingor (W4-D1-L0) from winning this season and we fancy the visitors to take all three points away with them this evening.
In May, Helsingor came to Koge and won 5-0. Since they stepped up to this level last season, Morten Eskesen’s men are W7-D1-L2 visiting bottom-half teams. Koge, who came home second bottom last term and are currently ninth in the 12-team league, look vulnerable today.
The hosts haven’t won since the opening day of the season (W1-D1-L3). On home turf, Daniel Agger’s men have recently lost 5/6, only managing a point against fellow strugglers Hobro. In 3/5 of those defeats, the margin of victory was at least two goals, With Helsingor striking three times in 3/4 home and away recently, we’re backing the visitors to win with a little something to spare.
