Tobias Gourlay’s making another trip to northeast Scotland, where he’s hoping Aberdeen will put on a show at Pittodrie tonight
Aberdeen v Dundee
Tuesday 19:45
The Billy Goats did run amok in Germany last night, but this was one of those rare occasions where they kept their own house in order. A 3-0 win wasn’t what we ordered, but there’s a pick-me-up waiting for us in Scotland. Hopefully.
For the second Tuesday in a row, we’ve come to Pittodrie. Seven days ago, Aberdeen beat Livingston 3-2. Tonight, they’re up against Dundee and we fancy the hosts to take all three points once more. Runners-up in each of the last four Scottish Premiership campaigns, the Dons have won more than 60% of home games under Derek McInnes (62/102). Most recently, they’ve won 5/6, including 3-0 and 4-1 victories over the teams either side of 11th-placed Dundee in the table.
Dundee are W1-D1-L6 on the road this term and have not improved much under new boss Jim McIntyre (W0-D1-L3). They lost their most recent away game 1-3 at Kilmarnock and have also recently lost 0-4 at Livingston. We fancy Aberdeen to pick up all three points with something to spare tonight.
