After kicking off the week with a [2.3] winner, Kev’s whisking us off to Sweden for some goal-filled mayhem.
Get set for a Swedish shootout
Degerfors v Mjallby
Tuesday 17 September, 18:00
It might not have been the side we expected who got the clean sheet, but derbies can be strange, and St Pauli’s 2-0 win over Hamburg gave us the odds-against success we craved. Nice firework display too (not entirely sure the local police would agree with me.)
We’re hoping for fireworks in Sweden tonight as well, as Degerfors face promotion-chasing Mjallby in the second-tier.
Degerfors are anything but dull at their Stora Valla ground. If you look at their last seven home games in the Superettan, six of them have seen not only both teams score, but at least three goals netted. Overall, five of their last six games in league and cup have featured a minimum of three goals, and seen both teams find the net.
Mjallby aren’t shy either – both teams have scored in nine of their last ten competitive games, and four of their last five road matches in the second tier have ended in 2-1 wins. This startling away form has catapulted them up to second in the standings. Given that Mjallby were only just promoted from the third-tier regional leagues, they have had an amazing campaign so far.
If you use the Same Game Multi option on the Sportsbook, you can back Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score at evens.
