Europa Conference League Tips: Flying Feyenoord are value

Dan Fitch thinks in-form Feyenoord are a big price away at Slavia Prague, as he previews Thursday’s Europa Conference League action.

Rennes on run of home clean sheets

Rennes 1.454/9 v Vitesse Arnhem 7.26/1; The Draw 4.3100/30

This is a big game in Group G, in which Spurs are competing. Rennes are top of the group with ten points after four games (W3 D1), while Vitesse are third with six points (W2 L2), a point behind Tottenham.

A victory for Rennes would be a huge step towards winning the group and reaching the last-16. They came from behind to win the reverse fixture 2-1 and are on an eleven match unbeaten run (W9 D2).

Vitesse are capable scorers, but Rennes have kept clean sheets in five of their last six home games, winning all of them. Back Rennes to win to nil at 2.35/4.

Value is with Feyenoord

Slavia Prague 2.0421/20 v Feyenoord 3.02/1; The Draw 3.613/5

A point would be enough for Feyenoord to ensure that they win Group E.

The Dutch club are top of the group with ten points (W3 D1), ahead of second placed Sparta Prague who have six points (W2 L2). Feyenoord are in good form, winning each of their last six games. They are third in the Eredivisie, two points behind the leaders Ajax.

Sparta are playing well themselves, winning each of their last five, but they still seem short here. The value is certainly with Feyenoord, who are 1.758/11 to avoid defeat in the Double Chance market.

Goals should flow between top two

Maccabi Tel Aviv 2.265/4 v LASK Linz 2.8815/8; The Draw 3.412/5

This is a huge game in Group A. Both teams have qualified, but with ten points each, it’s Maccabi Tel Aviv that occupy the automatic qualification spot for the last-16, while LASK are due to face a play-off.

The reverse fixture ended 1-1, so with the head-to-head level, Maccabi Tel Aviv are ahead on goal difference. Though both teams are unbeaten in the Conference League, neither are doing well domestically. Maccabi Tel Aviv are ninth in the Israeli Premier League after nine games (W3 D2 L4), while LASK are a lowly eleventh in the Austrian Bundesliga after 15 games (W3 D5 L7).

It’s a tough one to predict, but goals seem likely, as both teams are scoring freely. With not much value in the more obvious markets, take a chance on over 1.5 first-half goals landing at 2.447/5.

Roma can get back to winning ways

Roma 1.162/13 v Zorya 18.5; The Draw 7.87/1

Roma were the favourites to win the Europa Conference League at one stage, but now they might not even win their group.

Jose Mourinho’s side are second in Group C, a point behind the leaders Bodo/Glimt. Roma won their first two games, but were then thrashed 6-2 by Glimt away from home. They then failed to take revenge in the reverse fixture, having to twice come back from behind to draw 2-2 with Glimt.

Zorya are only a point behind Roma, but did lose the reverse fixture 3-0. Back Roma to win to nil at 1.834/5.
