The Daily Acca: LA Galaxy to boost their Play-off hopes

Houston have a problem

Bet 1: Back Minnesota United @ 19/10 – KO 01:30 BST (Thurs)

Houston Dynamo are in the midst of a shocking run of form that has seen them take just one point from a possible 21. They have won only two of their last 17 MLS outings, and they were beaten on a staggering 13 occasions during that period.

Minnesota United are the visitors to the BBVA Stadium tonight and a win would go a long way to sealing their place in the Play-offs.

Their record on the road isn’t great, but they have won two of their last five away from home – including their most recent at Western Conference leaders, Los Angeles.

Ibrahimovic to light up the Galaxy

Bet 2: Back LA Galaxy @ 19/10 – KO 02:00 BST (Thurs)

The Galaxy are currently outside of the Play-off places, but it is incredibly tight between second and eighth, as just four points separates them.

Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s side have gone four without a win, but two of them were draws, and if they can just tighten up at the back, they shouldn’t have any issues in finishing in the top seven.

It’s a bit of a stretch to tip them for an away win when they have lost five and drawn one of their last six on their travels, but the Rapids don’t have much to play for, and it feels like a game in which Zlatan will rise to the occasion.

Three points to stay in Utah

Bet 3: Back Real Salt Lake @ 13/8 – KO 02:30 BST (Thurs)

The selection have an excellent record in front of their own fans this season, and I’m backing them to extend it. They have won 10 of their 14 at this stadium, and they are battling to keep their place in the Play-offs.

San Jose Earthquakes are one place and one point better off than their opponents, and they have won their last two matches. They were both at home though, and away from home it’s three straight losses.
