The Daily Acca: Goals at Brentford in this 7/2 odds boost

The Premier League returns and Brentford’s match against Arsenal features in Paul Robinson’s odds boosted Daily Acca. Here are his selections:

Another high-scorer in the Bundesliga

Bet 1: Back BTTS in Mgladbach v Bayern Munich @ 4/11 – KO 19:30 BST

These two teams have new managers for this season, but as this is a Bundesliga game, one thing that I am certain of is that there will be goals.

Julian Nagelsmann has big shoes to fill at Bayern, but it has to be said that pre-season hasn’t been great – losing three times, including against today’s opponents.

Adi Hütter has joined Borussia Mönchengladbach from Eintracht Frankfurt, and he will be aiming to improve on the team’s eighth place finish last term.

This should be a really interesting game, which should give a decent indication as to how Bayern will get on this year. Whatever happens though, both teams should score.

Premier League to return with a bang

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Brentford v Arsenal @ 8/11 – KO 20:00 BST

The Bees are in the Premier League for the first time, and the atmosphere inside the Brentford Community Stadium should be buzzing tonight.

Ivan Toney was the top scorer in the Championship last season, and it will be really interesting to see how he gets on in the top flight.

Arsenal will be aiming to get back into Europe, but it has to be said that things still don’t appear to be too rosy at the Emirates.

This will be a really tough match for Mikel Arteta’s men, and I can’t see them keeping a clean sheet.

No clean sheet in Ligue One fixture

Bet 3: Back BTTS in Lorient v Monaco @ 4/5 – KO 20:00 BST

Lorient turned the corner at the beginning of 2021, saving themselves from relegation to finish 16th. They started their new campaign last weekend with a 1-1 draw at Saint-Etienne, and that is exactly the same scoreline that Monaco had in their opener.

The visitors have also been involved in Champions League action, beating Sparta Prague in both legs, to win the tie 5-1 on aggregate.

Again, I am expecting goals at Stade du Moustoir, and it’s worth noting that the two fixtures between the pair last season finished 2-2 and 2-5 to Monaco.
