Goals at both ends
Bet 1: Back BTTS in CFR Cluj v Celtic @ 11/10 – KO 19:45 BST
CFR Cluj are a Romanian team, managed by former Premier League favourite, Dan Petrescu. They have already upset the odds twice in the Champions League this season, as they beat Astana and Maccabi Tel Aviv to get this far.
They face another tough test in the shape of Celtic, but Bhoys manager, Neil Lennon, has dismissed Petrescu’s claim that the Romanians would need a miracle to knock them out.
It certainly won’t be an easy match over in Romania, but the Scottish side have shown great form this season. They thumped St Johnstone 7-0 at the weekend, and they eased through the first two rounds of the Champions League.
As for this bet, Sarajevo scored in both legs against them, with this selection landing in the two games. The hosts meanwhile have seen two of their last three end with goals at both ends.
Corinthians to remain on the up
Bet 2: Back Corinthians @ 4/9 – KO 23:15 BST
Corinthians are slowly re-building following a couple of disappointing seasons, and they have moved into seventh place in Serie A, thanks to a four match unbeaten run – two wins and two draws.
Fábio Carille’s side are also through to the quarter-finals of the Copa Sudamericana, and they will fancy their chances of picking up another victory tonight.
A home game against Goias is a great opportunity for three more points, as the visitors have lost four of their last five on their travels – the other was a 0-0 draw at bottom club, Avai.
Strikers to struggle in Brazilian Cup
Bet 3: Back Under 2.5 Goals in Cruzeiro v Internacional @ 4/9 – KO 01:30 BST
Staying in Brazil now, but this time in the Copa do Brasil – or the Brazilian Cup, to you and I.
We are at the semi-final stage, and this is the first leg between Cruzeiro and Internacional. There aren’t usually many goals in first legs of semis, and given the stats of the two teams, this appears to be an Unders certainty.
Cruzeiro have now gone an incredible seven games in all competitions, without finding the net, while Internacional have only scored more than once on their travels, on one occasion this season.
It’a also worth noting that two of the previous three meeting between this pair finished 0-0.
