Reds to win the battle but lose the war
Bet 1: Back Liverpool @ 8/5 – KO 20:00 BST
This tie is pretty much over, and any chance Liverpool might have had went out of the window when Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino were ruled out through injury.
I do however think that they can win this game at Anfield though, as they were better value than the 3-0 defeat that they ended up with at the Nou Camp.
Jurgen Klopp’s side dominated long spells of that match, and they simply didn’t take their chances. Barcelona won’t take any risks this evening if they fall a goal behind, and even with a second string strikeforce, I quite like the 8]5 on offer.

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Zamora v Atletico Mineiro @ 20/23 – KO 23:15 BST
Into the Copa Libertadores now and I like the look of both teams to score in the Group E fixture between Zamora and Atletico Mineiro.
These two teams can’t qualify for the next round as they have only managed three points each from their first five outings, so this is actually a bit of a dead rubber.
Neither side have struggled to score really as the hosts have netted five and the visitors four, but they have both conceded a fair few.
The opposite fixture finished 3-2 to the Brazilians, and while I doubt that this will be as high-scoring, I can’t see there being a clean sheet.
Holders to pick up the win
Bet 3: Back River Plate @ 8/13 – KO 01:30 BST (Wed)
Another dead rubber now in the Libertadores, but that’s only because the two teams have already qualified.
Internacional will go through as group winners – whatever the result tonight – as they have taken 13 points from a possible 15.
River Plate have nine points, but they haven’t been beaten, and they managed to hold their Brazilian opponents in the reverse fixture.
The hosts have plenty of recent history in this competition – who can forget their final against Boca last year – and as the defending champions, I expect them to make home advantage tell.
