The Daily Acca: Rangers to shut up shop at Midtjylland

Rangers to keep it tight in Denmark

Bet 1: Back Under 2.5 Goals in Midtjylland v Rangers @ 6/10 – KO 19:00 BST

Glasgow Rangers have made a great start to their season as they have successfully negotiated two rounds of this competition, and they also won their SPL opener at Kilmarnock on Sunday.

Steven Gerrard’s side are just two rounds away from the Europa League group stage and while they have drawn a tricky tie against an in-form Danish side, I still expect them to progress.

To do that, the Gers will need to get a decent result at Midtjylland this evening, and I don’t expect them to take too many risks.

A low-scoring draw would be a fantastic result for the Scots and with the Danes having seen three of their four league games this season have two goals or less, everything is pointing towards Unders backers collecting.

New York City to hit another home run at the Yankee Stadium

Bet 2: Back New York City @ 1/2 – KO 00:00 BST

The Pigeons have been in mixed form lately as while they have beaten Colorado and Sporting KC, they have also been beaten by Portland, NYRB and Real Salt Lake.

It’s hard to quibble with their recent home record though as Domènec Torrent’s side have won four of their last five at the Yankee Stadium.

The visitors tonight are Houston Dynamo, and they come into the game in terrible form. Five of their last six in the MLS have been losses, and on the road it’s eight defeats from nine.

Another draw for Oeste

Bet 3: Back The Draw in Oeste v Brasil de Pelotas @ 2/1 – KO 01:30 BST

We finish in Brazil’s Serie B, for a fixture between the teams in 14th and 13th place, and I’m expecting it to end all square.

The hosts saw their four match unbeaten run come to an end last time out, as they were beaten 3-2 at Botafogo SP. Prior to that they had drawn three of their previous four, and with eight draws in 14 outings this year, no other side have shared the points more.

Brasil de Pelotas have only drawn twice this season, but they came in their last two away matches. The 0-0 at Sport Recife and the 1-1 at Cuiaba extended their unbeaten run on their travels to four, and they ended the previous campaign in good form away from home.
