The Daily Acca: Gers to take a huge leap towards the knockout rounds

It’s all about the Europa League for Paul Robinson tonight and his 10/1 Daily Acca starts at Ibrox. Here are his selections:

Rangers to record a famous victory

Bet 1: Back Rangers @ 5/2 – KO 20:00 GMT

Group G is extremely tight as just two points separates all four teams. Villarreal lead the way with six points, but Rangers could overhaul them with a win tonight and move on to eight.

Steven Gerrard has certainly improved the Glasgow club and his main successes have come at Ibrox. His side come into this game having thumped Motherwell and Livingston on this ground, and they are unbeaten here in all competitions.

The reverse fixture finished 2-2 back in September, and with the Spaniards struggling down in 16th in La Liga, the hosts appear to be a decent price to record a vital win this evening.

The Bridge to keep on leaking for Chelsea

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Chelsea v PAOK @ 9/10 – KO 20:00 GMT

Chelsea have already qualified from Group L and only a major disaster would stop them from going through as winners. They have won all four of their matches to date, and they don’t really have much to fear tonight.

It will be interesting to see what kind of line-up the manager fields though, as you would expect all of the star players to be rested ahead of their match with Fulham on Sunday.

Keeping clean sheets at the Bridge has been a rarity this year, and with PAOK likely needing a win to keep their qualification hopes alive, there should be plenty of attacking action at both ends.

Goals galore in Cyprus

Bet 3: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Apollon v Lazio @ 4/6 – KO 20:00 GMT

This Group H fixture is all about goals as they have been flying in for these two during this competition.

Lazio are second in the group thanks to three wins and the only thing left to discover is whether they will be able to overhaul Eintracht Frankfurt at the top. They have scored eight and conceded seven across their four outings, and all four of them have seen this selection land.

The same can be said for three of Apollon’s four games, and the one that didn’t only missed out by a single goal. They have struggled for results in this tough looking group and they sit joint bottom with Marseille on just a single point. It is worth noting however that they scored twice in both of their home fixtures.
