In the Europa League today, Tobias Gourlay reckons FC Copenhagen can take something away from their trip to Istanbul
Basaksehir v FC Copenhagen

In Russia yesterday, Sochi thrashed FC Orenburg 5-1 to land our BTTS bet – the all-important consolation arriving with just five minutes to go. It wasn’t much for them, but it meant the world to us.
We’ve come to Turkey today for one of this evening’s Europa League Last 16 first legs. Okan Buruk’s Istanbul Basaksehir host Stale Solbakken’s FC Copenhagen and we fancy both teams can draw blood.
Since the Turkish Super Lig resumed in mid-January, BTTS has landed in 3/4 league matches at Fatih Terim Stadium. In the last round of the Europa League, Basaksehir went to Sporting Lisbon and lost the first leg 1-3 before winning the second leg on home turf by the same score, then finding the decisive goal in extra time.
In Copenhagen’s Last 32 tie, they drew 1-1 at home to Celtic, then went to Glasgow and beat the Scottish champions 3-1. The Danes have scored on all four of their Europa League away trips this season and, though they start as outsiders, we fancy they can nick a goal and deliver BTTS in Istanbul today.
