Paul Higham has Tuesday’s props column with a Leeds duo backed to find the target at decent prices in a wide open game at Man City.
This should be a belter at the Etihad as Pep Guardiola goes up against his managerial idol Marcelo Bielsa, but things aren’t going so well for his Leeds side as they face the champions.
The fixtures gods haven’t been kind to Leeds with back-to-back trips to Stamford Bridge and the Etihad not exactly ideal fixtures, but they probably should have come away with at least a point at Chelsea after a fine performance.
It was a lot more like the Leeds of last season and the way Man City play this could be another excellent contest and something similar to the two games we saw last year.
Leeds took four points off City with a belting 1-1 draw at Elland Road and shock 2-1 win in Manchester despite playing the second half with 10 men – those memories plus the display at Chelsea should give them bags of confidence even if they are struggling at the wrong end of the table.
And Bielsa won’t change his ways so they’ll come out swinging again and with City such big favourites that inflates the prices nicely for a couple of Leeds players to have a shot on target.
There’s no surprises that Brazilian Raphinha is one of them with seven goals, 42 shots and 13 on target this season, and he’s also on the pens so has a good chance to score, but more likely is to test compatriot Ederson in the City goal.
Jack Harrison is also a nice price to have a shot on target against his former side at 3.185/40.
He’ll be keen to impress his former employers and had a shot on target at Chelsea so can do some damage here, especially on the break.
Combined with Raphinha, who is always looking to shoot, it’s a nice Bet Builder double for a game with plenty of action in it.
