Entertainment at Griffin Park
Bet 1: Back BTTS in Brentford v Bristol City @ 13/20 – KO 19:45 BST
We begin at Griffin Park for the Bees against the Robins, and with the visitors scoring and conceding goals for fun, both teams to score looks like a certainty.
Lee Johnson’s side have played five times away from home this season and while they are yet to be beaten, they are also yet to keep a clean sheet.
This selection would have landed in all five games, and while the stats are nowhere near as good for the hosts, the sheer volume of high-scoring affairs that Bristol City have been involved in, makes me believe that there won’t be a clean sheet in sight this evening.
Rangers to keep the away goals coming
Bet 2: Back BTTS in Cardiff v QPR @ 8/13 – KO 19:45 BST
My second selection is similar to the first, as the away side have played five times on the road this year, and four of the five have had goals at both ends.
Mark Warburton’s men actually took 12 points from those away outings, and all of their four victories were by a 2-1 scoreline.
Neil Warnock’s hosts haven’t hit the heights that were quite expected of them this season, and part of the reason is that clean sheets have proven to be quite elusive.
At home it’s just one from their four latest outings, and BTTS backers would have collected in three of them.
Hatters and Lions to fail to keep it clean
Bet 3: Back BTTS in Luton v Millwall @ 4/6 – KO 19:45 BST
With 14 goals scored and 17 conceded across their nine matches to date, Luton’s games are averaging 3.44 goals each time – the highest in the Championship.
Three of their last four at Kenilworth Road have had goals at both ends, and they are yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
Millwall haven’t kept a clean sheet on their travels yet, but they have at least scored themselves in three of their five away matches, and you would think that they could find the net against this Luton defence.
