Defender Daniel Georgievski is adamant he’s earned an upgraded deal with A-League champions Melbourne Victory, and is prepared to walk away unless he gets it.
The Macedonia international full-back may have played his last game for Kevin Muscat’s side, as he’s considering going back overseas.
We’ll see if we can reach an agreement, but if we can’t then that’s life, I guess.

Georgievski signed a one-year deal with Victory before the start of last season, returning to his native Australia to play his club football for the first time in nearly a decade.
It could turn out to be a short stay, though, as he feels he’s done his talking on the pitch and it’s now up to the club to come up with a deal he can accept.
If he does walk away, it will be with the satisfaction of a job well done as he helped Muscat’s side win the double last season.
The 27-year-old said after Victory rounded off a highly successful campaign by winning the Grand Final, beating Sydney FC 3-0, the club made him an offer he wasn’t happy with.
He made a counter-offer and Victory, who are 3.75 to win the 2015-16 Grand Final, have spent the past few weeks pondering their next move.
“We’ll see if we can reach an agreement, but if we can’t then that’s life, I guess,” said Georgievski. “As much as I would like to stay here, business is business and that’s how it is with clubs as well.
“I said I’d show the club what I could do in the A-League and what I said I would do, I did. Now it’s up to the club whether they want to keep me or not.
“When I came here I wasn’t stubborn about what they offered me. I said give me whatever and I’ll show you in a year and we’ll go from there. One year was all I wanted to show who I am.”
Georgievski made 18 starts in the A-League campaign and came off the bench in three more games, finishing the season in style by playing the full 90 minutes in the Grand Final.
Meanwhile, Australia are 4.50 to win their next match at the Women’s World Cup against Brazil, who are 1.80, with the draw 3.50.
