Wednesday’s column has picked out Richarlison for a goal and yellow card double as Everton visit Watford.
It’s been another rotten relegation season for Watford, but Everton look like they’ll fight their way out of trouble after an almighty scare.
Frank Lampard’s side looked dead and buried after losing at Burnley, but they’ve dug themselves out of danger with three wins in five. From low odds of 1.618/13 in the Betfair Exchange’s relegation betting they are now 14.013/1.
Home wins against a woeful Man Utd and out-of-sorts Chelsea gave them huge confidence, and taking four points in a couple of weeks off leggy Leicester moved them out of the drop zone.
They’re only on 35 points, but what should be an away win here will give them a great platform with very winnable games at Goodison against Brentford and Palace to follow.
And the Toffees are odds-on to win at Vicarage Road despite their win at the King Power on Sunday being just their second away win of the season. That’s how bad Watford have been.
There should be goals in this one, as Watford concede more than anyone else at home while Everton still give plenty of chances away at the back – so we’ve got plenty to look it in the player stats markets.
Richarlison has four goals in six and typifies Everton’s effort in recent games, and he’ll be flying from the off once again.
The Brazilian has scored in two of his last three games against his former side and is a well-fancied 2.26/5 to find the net again.
Richarlison’s desire is also his downfall at times though, as he’s been booked nine times this season including two in his last four.
Richarlison is 3.7511/4 to get his 10th booking of the season here, with the Bet Builder double for him to score and see yellow coming in at 9.28/1.
He’s scored and been booked twice this season, including in the first meeting with Watford at Goodison this season.
