The Daily Acca: Bank on the favourites

There are three home bankers for Paul Robinson tonight and they have been kindly boosted to 11/4. Here are his Daily Acca selections:

Koln to be beaten

Bet 1: Back RB Leipzig @ 4/9 – KO 19:30 GMT

It hasn’t been a great season for RB Leipzig, but new manager, Domenico Tedesco has won five of his first eight matches in charge, and they are only two points off the top four.

I expect them to return to winning ways tonight, following a 3-2 loss at Bayern on Saturday. Prior to that they had won four on the bounce in all competitions, and they have recorded victories in three of their last four at home in the Bundesliga.

The visitors are Koln, and after only narrowly avoiding relegation last term, they are up in sixth this time around. They are actually unbeaten in five on the road, but three of those were draws, and all five games came against teams in the lower half of the division.

Sevilla to get back on track

Bet 2: Back Sevilla @ 40/85 – KO 20:00 GMT

Sevilla have failed to win any of their last four outings in all competitions, but only one of those was a defeat, and they are still nearer Real Madrid at the top than they are Real Betis in third.

Julen Lopetegui’s men are unbeaten at home this term, winning eight of their 11 in La Liga, and they will fancy their chances of making it win number nine against Elche.

The away side are 14th in the table, and have actually taken 11 points from a possible 15 in the league in 2022. That being said, it’s just two away victories all season, and they have lost seven of their 12 on their travels.

No stopping PSG in Paris

Bet 3: Back PSG @ 8/15 – KO 20:00 GMT

PSG put in one of their better displays when thumping Lille 5-1 last weekend, and they remain well out of sight of second placed, Marseille, in Ligue One.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are back at Parc des Princes tonight – a place where they have taken 31 points from a possible 33 this season.

Their opponents are Rennes, who are actually doing well in fifth, but they have now lost four of their last six, and would need to be firing on all cylinders to give PSG a game.
