The Daily Acca: Brighton to be beaten in this 5/1 odds boost

It’s a 5/1 Daily Acca for Paul Robinson today, and it features both Championship fixtures and the Premier League clash at the Amex. Here are his selections:

Fulham to keep on firing

Bet 1: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Fulham v Birmingham @ 6/10 – KO 19:45 GMT

The Cottagers are back in form and they are back scoring goals too. Following a little dry spell that affected their results, Marco Silva’s side went to Reading and won 7-0. They then followed that up with a 6-2 home victory over Bristol City at the weekend.

It’s hard to imagine them not giving Birmingham a good hiding at the Cottage tonight, especially as the visitors are winless in six in all competitions. It’s also worth noting that two of their last three on the road have seen this selection land.

Joy for both attack’s at Deepdale

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Preston v Sheffield United @ 9/10 – KO 19:45 GMT

It’s 15th versus 14th at Deepdale this evening, and I am expecting both teams to find the net.

The Blades saw their four match winning run come to an end at Wolves in the cup, and while that can easily be forgiven, it was disappointing to see them lose 2-0 at Derby on Saturday.

Preston drew 1-1 at home with Birmingham at the weekend, which isn’t the strongest form in the world, but they did at least win their two Championship matches prior to that.

As far as the goals go, BTTS backers have collected in five of the hosts’ last six on this ground – including all of the last four – while the visitors have only failed to find the net in one of their last eight away from Bramall Lane.

Goal-shy hosts to come unstuck

Bet 3: Back Chelsea @ 3/4 – KO 20:00 GMT

Brighton dominated most of the game against Crystal Palace last Friday, but the again failed to score when on top, and in the end they needed a late own goal to secure a point.

I very much doubt that they will be afforded that kind of luxury by Chelsea, and while Thomas Tuchel’s men aren’t in the same kind of form as they were towards the start of the campaign, their 1-0 loss at Man City was their first since the beginning of December.
