Paul Higham has a shots on target double involving Dan James and Conor Gallagher as Leeds hosts Crystal Palace on Tuesday night…
I think we’re safe in saying Leeds have been diagnosed with second season syndrome with them looking far more seriously over their shoulders than in front of them as they welcome Crystal Palace to Elland Road.
While Marcelo Bielsa is struggling to get the same tune out of his side as last year, Patrick Vieira is proving a bit of a hit at Palace, who are just four points above Leeds but have a completely different atmosphere about the club right now.
Even a packed-out Elland Road hasn’t really provided a spark for Leeds, with just one win on their home patch this season against three draws and two defeats.
With the Eagles leading the league in draws with seven, and Leeds just one behind with six, a stalemate here looks like the one to be on in the outright markets.

We’re looking more into the props markets here, and if you’re into the half-time/full-time bets then note that Leeds have had five games go draw/draw this season – the most in the league, with another trading at 5.04/1.
Bielsa’s side have conceded plenty, but in the first half they’re usually solid as they’ve conceded just two first-half goals in their last 10 games so the second half is favoured to have the most goals in here at 2.111/10.
For Palace, they really need to sort out their set piece defending as they’ve conceded more goals (10) than anyone else in the division from dead ball situations.
Raphinha is by far Leeds’ main source of attack but Dan James has been much more involved in the last couple of games and he’s a spot of value to get a shot on target here after firing in nine in the last two games.
James had four shots on target and a goal against Spurs and his pace will prove to be a problem for Palace here.
For the Eagles, outside of their strikers then Conor Gallagher is an interesting prospect as his hard running from deep will cause Leeds a lot of trouble if they’re as open as they can be.
Gallagher is always one of the first on the scene on the break too and he’s had plenty of success of late with eight shots on target in his last eight games.
And the prices the pair of Gallagher and James provide us with a nice shots on target double for the game.
