Football Bet of the Day: St Pauli to sink Sandhausen

Tobias Gourlay’s plundering Germany today as high-flying St Pauli take on struggling Sandhausen

In Brazil last night, Juventude left it late but they came through for us in the end. The visitors’ 88th-minute equaliser meant a 1-1 draw that delivered on our odds-against BTTS bet.

We’re in Germany today for what should be a routine home win in the Bundesliga 2. St Pauli have been perfect at Millerntor-Stadion so far this term and we reckon they can extend that record against SV Sandhausen this evening.

Timo Schultz’s St Pauli are W6-D0-L0 on home turf this season, winning those games by a combined 19-3. They’ve scored at least twice in all six games and the winning margin has been a couple of goals in 5/6.

Seventeenth-placed Sandhausen have lost on all of their last three trips to Millerntor. This season, they’re a decent W3-D1-L2 on the road, but they’ve lost 2/2 against teams in the top six. We fancy second-placed St Pauli can beat them with something to spare today.
