There is a 6/1 Daily Acca from the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga for Paul Robinson tonight. Here are his selections:
Another high-scorer in Italy
Bet 1: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Empoli v Genoa @ 6/10 – KO 19:45 GMT
It’s Serie A, and that means goals. Empoli have won two of their last three to climb to 11th in the table, but their record at home is poor.
So far this season it’s five defeats in six, with the only victory being a 4-2 win over Bologna. As for this particular selection, five of the six had three goals or more.
Genoa are without a win in eight, and that run of form has left them down in 17th place. There are some positive, as five of those eight ended all square – including three of their last five.
In six matches on the road, Over 2.5 backers have collected four times, and they have only failed to score themselves twice.
Villa’s defence to leak again
Bet 2: Back BTTS in Southampton v Aston Villa @ 7/10 – KO 20:00 GMT
Aston Villa have been one of the biggest disappointments of the season, and they travel south on the back of four straight defeats.
It’s clear where the problem lies for Dean Smith, and that’s at the back. They found the net in all four of those losses, and only Chelsea have kept a clean sheet against them this term.
The Saints are in better form, as after a miserable start, they have taken seven points from a possible nine of late. They will fancy their chances of picking up three more points tonight, but I can’t see them keeping a clean sheet.
Cadiz to penetrate Bilbao’s backline
Bet 3: Back BTTS in Athletic Bilbao v Cadiz @ 13/10 – KO 20:00 GMT
More goals now, and this time in La Liga. Bilbao are in eighth, and while they have the joint best defensive record in the division, they have conceded in five of their last six.
Cadiz have rediscovered their goalscoring touch in their last two matches, drawing 3-3 at Villarreal, before a 1-1 draw at home to Mallorca, most recently.
This selection has landed in four of their five away from home this season, and the same can be said for three of the hosts’ five in front of their own fans.
