Opportunities look a little thin on the ground on Friday but this game in the Spanish second division makes some appeal.

Leaders Almeria host a Leganes side who have massively disappointed so far and surprisingly sit in the relegation zone with just two wins from 12 games.

Here they face the division’s top scorers (25 goals in their 12 matches) and a player who is joint top of the individual scorer standings, Umar Sadiq.

The one-time Rangers loanee has seven goals this term and has scored in six of his 11 games, including three of five at home.

Up against a struggling, injury-hit side here, the Nigerian looks good for a goal – he’s 13/10 in the anytime scorer market.

We’ve also got a referee, Iosu Galech Apezteguia, who likes to show a card or two. He’s produced 32 yellows and two reds in just six matches this season.

That brings player cards into focus with the value price being the 12/5 about visiting centre-back Kenneth Omeruo going into the book.

The ex-Middlesbrough defender has been carded in two of seven games so far, while last season he picked up 10 in 28 games. Across the two campaigns, he’s been carded in seven of his last 16.

He’ll have to deal with his fellow Nigeria squad member Sadiq, a battle which could easily produce a few fouls.

The concern is Omeruo has missed the last two games due to injury and remains one of Leganes’ many injury worries. However, the sounds are that he has a good chance of returning here – and having shipped five goals in the games he’s missed, Omeruo is needed.

Put the two legs together using the Bet Builder feature and you get a decent-looking price of just under 8/1.
