Our football props column has a 5/2 shots pick for West Ham v Rapid Vienna on Thursday – one which has landed in 12 of the player’s 15 games this season…
“Ullmann likes a shot from around the box and if he gets into that sort of position of a few occasions, it’s not hard to see him getting as shot away at some point.”

This column had a near-miss on Wednesday night when the 5/1 double fell one shot short.
However, the headline part of the bet – shots from right-back Rasmus Kristensen – certainly delivered and anyone who backed singles on his shots lines would have been rewarded. He finished with three which had been offered at 15/2.
I’m going to stick with a similar theme for this match where another full-back looks a big price to fire off a shot or two.
The man in question this time around is Rapid left-back Maximilian Ullmann.
He’s managed a shot in 12 of his 15 games this season – including five of seven in Europe – yet he’s available here at 5/2 to have another.
OK, West Ham will start firm favourites given Rapid’s recent slump – a run of five games without a win has seen them slip to second-bottom of the Austrian Bundesliga.
But do we really see them dominating completely?
With one eye on Sunday’s home Premier League game with Brentford, the hosts will doubtless make a few changes to give Rapid hope.
It’s hard to envisage a side struggling at the moment simply trying to shut up shop away to quality opposition, especially given their natural style is to get their full-backs forward.
They will need outlets and Ullmann will offer one down the left flank.
He likes a shot from around the box and if he gets into that sort of position of a few occasions, it’s not hard to see him getting as shot away at some point.
The 2+ shots bet is also worth considering at 10/1. Ullmann has landed this in three of his seven European games in the current campaign.
