The Daily Acca: Inter to get the job done against Getafe

Wolfsburg to flop again

Bet 1: Back Shakhtar @ 17/10 – KO 17:55 BST

Shakhtar Donetsk hold a 2-1 advantage going into this second leg, following their victory in Germany, back in March.

Since then they have lost just one match, and in their domestic league, they won nine and drew two of their 11 games post lockdown.

Wolfsburg were very disappointing once the Bundesliga returned, with their record reading – played nine, won four, drew one and lost four.

Italians to lay down their credentials

Bet 2: Back Inter 4/5 – KO 20:00 BST

Inter and Getafe meet in a one-off tie to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Europa League, and I have to side with the Italians.

Antonio Conte’s men finished off their Serie A campaign in great style at the weekend, as they won 2-0 at Atalanta – their third straight victory.

They finished as runners-up to Juventus, and they have to be considered as one of the main contenders to lift this trophy.

Getafe ended up in eighth place in La Liga, with their behind closed doors results being very disappointing. Since the return in June, they won just one of 11 matches – losing three of their final four.

A stroll in the park for United

Bet 3: Back Man United to win to nil @ 4/5 – KO 20:00 BST

Manchester United are an improving team, and this second leg is a formality anyway, given that they hold a 5-0 lead from the first match in Linz.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær are another one of the favourites to win the Europa League, and he won’t want to start this mini-tournament off on the back-foot.

I don’t expect him to play his best XI, but whatever side he puts out there, should be capable of beating LASK, without conceding a goal.
