The Daily Acca: Fireworks in Dortmund

Coventry to brush aside the Dons

Bet 1: Back Coventry @ 6/10 – KO 19:45 BST

The Sky Blues remain unbeaten in League One, and they did well to earn a draw at Burton on Saturday. They are back at St Andrew’s this evening, and while that isn’t exactly home, their record since their move there has been great.

Mark Robins‘ side have played four and won four this term – scoring seven times and keeping three clean sheets.

The visitors are AFC Wimbledon, and they sit third from bottom, with just three points from eight fixtures. Away from home it’s four defeats from four, and it’s hard to see them turning that record around at the league leaders.

Entertainment in Germany

Bet 2: Back Over 3.5 Goals in Dortmund v Barcelona @ 6/5 – KO 20:00 BST

Goals should be the order of the day at the Westfalenstadion when Dortmund take on Barcelona.

The hosts have played four Bundesliga matches to date this season and all four of them have seen this selection land. They have scored a total of 12 goals and conceded five.

The visitors opened up their La Liga campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Athletic Club, but since then it’s been goals all the way – a pair of 5-2 victories, and a 2-2 draw.

Lionel Messi is set to make his return to the team tonight and the goals look set to flow at both ends.

Lampard’s young-guns to fire in a few more goals

Bet 3: Back Over 3.5 Goals in Chelsea v Valencia @ 2/1 – KO 20:00 BST

Chelsea have been one of the entertainers in the Premier League this term, and that has led to four of their five games having four goals or more.

Tammy Abraham has been on fire with seven goals in his last three appearances, and Mason Mount has three in four.

Valencia were beaten 5-2 at the Nou Camp on Saturday and they have won just one of their first four La Liga fixtures. I can definitely see them scoring against this Blues defence, but Frank Lampard’s men could easily get three or four of their own.
