Wolves to be tame at Molineux
Bet 1: Back Under 3.5 Goals in Wolves v FC Pyunik @ 15/8 – KO 19:45 BST
Wolves made short work of FC Pyunik in the first leg over in Armenia, and while they won 4-0, I am not convinced they will run up a huge score at Molineux.
With one foot already in the next round, the English club can coast this evening and concentrate on their big game with Manchester United on Monday.
Nuno Espírito Santo will surely play a weakened side, so don’t expect to see Jimenez and Jota play for 90 minutes – I would actually be surprised if they started.
Aberdeen to give themselves a chance
Bet 2: Back Aberdeen @ 11/8 – KO 19:45 BST
The Dons need a big performance to get through to the next round as they trail 2-0 from the first leg in Croatia and they were also beaten in the SPL at the weekend.
Derek McInnes‘ side have won three out of three at Pittodrie this season though, which includes a 3-2 success against Hearts.
The visitors were knocked out at this stage of the competition last year, and they have a bit of a sketchy away record overall.
Rangers to have the perfect Old Firm warm-up
Bet 3: Back Rangers @ 4/6 – KO 19:45 BST
Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers put in a great attacking performance to beat Midtjylland 4-2 in Denmark, and they will surely extend that lead this evening.
The Gers put six past Hibs at Ibrox on Sunday, and they are 4/4 in competitive home games this term. They conceded just the one goal and scored 15 themselves, and although the Danes have been in good form, they are up against it here.
It is the Old Firm derby this weekend, but Rangers aren’t as far clear as what Wolves are for example, so they can’t afford to rest too many players really.
