“Sol de America have leaked 16 goals in their last four away games, and have the worst defensive record in the division.”
Paraguayan strugglers to put on a show
General Diaz v Sol de America
Wednesday 17 April, 23:15
We seem to making the near-miss a bit of an art form at the moment. Osters and Degerfors were locked together at 1-1 as early as the 16th minute last night, and yet that third goal we needed refused to arrive. The Easter eggs were raided early as I sought comfort.
Anyway, we’ll undertake a long journey now in search of our first winner of the week, as General Diaz face Sol de America in Paraguay’s top division.
The General isn’t looking too healthy at the moment, sitting 11th in the 12-team Division Profesional, with just three league wins from 15 games. Sol de America haven’t exactly shone either, with just four victories.
The one thing that these out-of-form sides might bring us is goals. Sol de America have leaked a whopping 16 goals in their last four away games, and it therefore won’t surprise you to learn that they have the worst defensive record in the top flight. General Diaz have leaked 11 goals in their last four home games, including a pair of 3-1 defeats and a 3-3 draw with Sportivo San Lorenzo.
Over 2.5 Goals is trading at [1.85] here, a bet that paid off when Sol de America hammered General Diaz 3-0 in the first week of February.
